Light

The theme this week was "light."  This is Lake Superior at the west end of the Portage Canal at sunset on Saturday.  The same view the day before would have been a white-out, no doubt, but this day, it was lovely.

Underneath

For show and tell this week, Addie had to think of something to tell her classmates that they might not already know.  It turns out, she has 92 stuffed animals.  And of course they couldn't be counted without all being pulled out of their various creative storage solutions.  And then since they were all down, they all had to be shown some love.  Hence, Addie, underneath her stuffies.

Story

I don't make scrap books or keep up with Addie's baby book very well, but a couple times a year when Snapfish offers penny prints or free shipping or something, I order real prints to put in a real photo album.  We fill one up every couple years or so.  They stay on the bottom shelf of a bookcase, until every once in a while, Addie likes to pull them out.  She is fascinated by the things that she is too young to remember or that happened before she came along.  These books are the story of her life.
